Solar System Model Guide

Constructing Your Solar System

1. Match the number on each polystyrene ball to the guide above and paint it in the suggested colour.
2. Cut the supplied wire to the lengths shown in the table.
3. Glue the Sun ball inside the black ring to create the base.
4. To attach Saturn's ring, push both 25cm wire pieces into opposite sides of Saturn, secure with glue, then attach the ring to the other ends of the wire.
5. Glue the correctly sized wire into each planet using the guide above.
6. Insert the wire for each planet into the Sun in the order shown and glue securely into place.
7. Allow the project to dry and your DIY Solar System model is complete.
