Mega Chenille Yarn 300g 29m 20ply Solid Red

Red is a classic, true red with no orange or pink lean, the standard red most people picture rather than a warmer or cooler variation.

Made from 100% super soft polyester in our thickest weight (20 ply, Jumbo 7), it's a common choice for Christmas throws and stockings, footy-colours blankets (plenty of AFL and NRL clubs run red into their strip), and traditional home décor.

It also makes a good plush teddy bear, heart cushion or Santa-themed softie. Fully machine washable, so it's suited to genuine everyday use, not just the mantelpiece at Christmas.

Red is a favourite for arm knitting and hand knitting alike, particularly for anyone making their first chunky blanket. The extra-thick 20 ply weight does most of the work, so the finished throw looks impressive even if it's your first time picking up needles or a hook.
