For a strong classic colour, Porta Craft Luxe Cotton Blend Yarn in Mailbox Red provides a vivid red in a versatile 8ply cotton acrylic blend. Made from 60% cotton and 40% acrylic, this 100g yarn is suited to everything from bold accessories and garments to colourful blankets and crochet projects.

Mailbox Red makes an effective feature shade and can be used to add contrast to neutral projects or create a traditional red, white and blue palette with White, Ivory and Navy. It can also be paired with Coral and Princess Pink for a warmer combination, or used in small amounts for borders, stripes and colourwork.

Luxe Cotton Acrylic Yarn offers a useful balance between cotton and acrylic fibres. The cotton content contributes a comfortable, lightweight character, while acrylic adds practicality and helps the yarn stand up to regular use.
