Disco Nights Sparkle Yarn 100g - Tanzanite

Tanzanite is a muted, darker pink with a sparkle that catches the light. It's a deeper, more grown-up pink than a pastel, and glitter runs through the yarn so every stitch glints.

Part of the Disco Nights Sparkle range, it's a sparkle-infused blend of acrylic and polyester in 8ply (DK), good for both knitting and crochet. Each 100g ball has approx. 250m, with a 4.5mm needle recommended and a tension of 19 sts x 27 rows over 10 x 10cm. The ball measures approx. 9cm diameter x 8cm high.

Use it for scarves, beanies and cowls, mittens and wraps, cushions and gifts. A muted pink with sparkle suits both everyday accessories and dressier makes, and simple stitches like garter stitch, stocking stitch or basic double crochet let the shimmer show.

Pair it with other shades from the range for stripes and colour-blocking, or with a plain colour for contrast. Tanzanite goes well with the paler Kunzite if you want a soft-to-deep pink combination. For bigger projects, buy your balls from the same dye lot.

Fibre: 57% Acrylic / 43% Polyester.
Care: warm hand wash or warm gentle machine wash, cold rinse well, dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry, iron or bleach. Dry cleanable. When following a pattern, use the recommended needle size.
