Looking for a teal yarn with real sparkle?

Meet Amazite. It's a colourway of teal and blue tones, with sparkle running through the yarn so it glints and shimmers as you stitch. If you want a blue-green glitter yarn that's anything but plain, this is it.

It comes from the Disco Nights Sparkle range and is a sparkle-infused blend of acrylic and polyester. The 8ply (DK) weight suits both knitting and crochet, and each 100g ball holds about 250m, so one ball goes a long way.

Where it shines: teal and blue sparkle looks great in beanies, scarves and cowls, and in wraps and mittens that bring a bit of glamour to cooler weather. It also works for cushions, festive decorations and handmade gifts. Simple stitches such as garter stitch, stocking stitch or basic double crochet give the shimmer room to show.

Care: warm hand wash or warm gentle machine wash, then cold rinse well. Dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry, iron or bleach. Dry cleanable. When following a pattern, use the recommended needle size.
