Shirring Elastic 20m

This narrow sewing elastic thread from Porta Craft is highly versatile, and is ready for immediate use in a sewing machine. It comes in a 20 meter spool, and can be used for shirring, ruffles or to stabilise particular parts of a project. This Shirring Elastic can also be used for crocheting or knitting projects.

Note: The width of this elastic determines it tension or strength. Use narrow elastic for light tension and wider for heavier tension.

For tangle-free hand sewing, cut the thread in lengths, no longer than 18' (45.5cm). Anything longer may twist itself and form knots.
