A warm, earthy neutral sitting between soft beige and light brown, Solid Taupe is an easy colour to use across both modern and rustic projects. This 16ply chunky chenille yarn has a plush, velvety finish that works particularly well for teddy bears, blankets, cushions, amigurumi and neutral home décor.
Taupe has more depth than pale cream or beige but is considerably softer than a dark brown, giving you a neutral that adds warmth without dominating a colour palette. It combines particularly well with cream, ivory, white, eucalyptus, sage, dusty pink and other muted shades. As a solid colour, it is also useful when you want the texture and shape of your stitches to remain the main feature of the finished piece.
The 16ply Super Chunky / Super Bulky 6 construction creates a thick fabric and allows projects to grow relatively quickly compared with finer yarn weights.
